The Country Living Magazine Christmas Fairs have returned enchanting visitors in London, Glasgow and Harrogate between the 7 November and 2 December 2018. With over 300 exhibitors at each Fair there was something for everyone to enjoy, from crafty handmade gifts to high end fashion, unique artisan products and delicious food and drink, the endless variety of unique and original products made for the perfect time to get ready for this year’s festive season.
Alongside Christmas shopping, visitors also got hands on in our interactive crafting workshops learning from our expert demonstrators and making handmade, one of a kind gifts. From personalised Christmas decorations to crocheting, willow weaving to painting, the crating workshops allowed visitors to reveal their creative side, pick up new crafting skills and take home something truly unique.
Visitors also cooked up a storm and stocked up on delicious foods from all over the world, from Indian curries and spices to traditional British delicacies, hot chocolates and the finest cheese board classics, the wide variety of tasty treats were ideal for every food lover. Visitors had the chance to visit the Country Living Kitchen sponsored by Stoves where Marie-Clare and our cooking professionals offered tips, advice and inspiration on new and traditional recipes for the perfect Christmas. At the Harrogate Fair the CL Kitchen team was joined by the Great British Bake Off finalist Kim-Joy who demonstrated her Christmas cookie decorating skills whilst participating in a live Q&A with our visitors, providing the audience with an insight into her life during and after the TV show.
After a long day of crafting, cooking and shopping visitors had the chance to sit back and relax over a glass or two of bubbly champagne at the Champagne Lounge sponsored by Viking Cruises or sip on the finest quality teas in the Hampstead Tea Room sponsored by Hampstead Tea in London. In Glasgow our visitors benefited from additional shopping offered by Orkney Food and Drink and the Orkney Creative stands.
Visitors who wanted an extra special experience at the Fair upgraded their tickets to VIP. VIP customers enjoyed priority entrance to the Fair followed by all day bottomless Prosecco, an exclusive VIP goody bag filled with lots of special treats, access to our private VIP lounge where they enjoyed complimentary tea and coffee as well as a private cloakroom and exclusive Fair discounts offered by our exhibitors.
