These premium, passion-led events run across the UK and Ireland including London, Birmingham, Glasgow & Dublin, attracting over 400,000 visitors annually.

Where You Come In.

We are looking for a brilliant Sponsorships & Partnerships Executive (SPE) to work across London Art Fair and New Designers. London Art Fair is the premier UK art fair for modern and contemporary art and takes place annually at the Business Design Centre, bringing together over a hundred leading international galleries – showcasing exceptional work from both leading figures and emerging talent. New Designers is the UK’s most important exhibition for graduate design, ensuring that the lifecycle of the design industry continues and thrives.

The role of the SPE is to support the team in achieving the sponsorship revenue targets, assist in developing a targeted sponsorship pipeline, account manage current sponsors and partners, and deliver their campaigns in line with objectives across the Art & Design portfolio.

General Duties & Responsibilities

• To maintain and build relations with current sponsors
• To generate target lists of new sponsors and support development and management of pipeline on Filemaker
• To help create and deliver targeted sponsorship packages to potential sponsors
• To work with the Head of Sponsorship to help manage, schedule and deliver the partnerships and deals in place across the Art & Design portfolio
• To work with the Marketing Manager and Events team on the creation, development and implementation of the communications plan in order to achieve event objectives
• To understand the objectives and timescales for the event
• To help maintain day-to-day relationships with relevant agencies
• To liaise with marketing team to update show websites in a timely manner ensuring messages are consistent with offline promotional material
• To liaise directly with partners and sponsors to ensure the delivery of campaigns
• To liaise directly with exhibitors to ensure they are apprised of relevant marketing activity and that they maximise marketing opportunities pre-, during and post-event
• To help with the delivery of event features (e.g. conferences and seminars) as required
• To input into the capture of survey data and interpretation of data for sponsors and partners post-event reports and show development

Person Specifications

• Experience:
o Account management experience in sponsorships and/ or partnerships
o Understanding of how to effectively research and build targeted sponsorship and partnerships pipelines
o Experience in Marketing and Campaign Planning and delivery
o Experience in Basic Website Management
• Knowledge:
o Understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques
o Understanding of conventional and digital marketing channels
o Good overall IT skills including Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Skills:
o Able to think creatively and strategically
o Confident presentation skills
o Committed and determined
o Effective interpersonal skills
o Highly organised with good time management
o Ability to pay close attention to detail
o Willing to learn, adapt and grow within a role
o Interest in Art & Design sectors an advantage
